The Division offers advice on the very specific housing association insurance covers where Housing
Associations need to protect themselves, their properties and their
tenants from the many disasters which can occur during the course
of property management.
We aim to establish a programme of housing association insurance cover to contain risks
to Registered Social Landlords. A large part of this containment
is due to the delicate balance between Self-Insurance and Insurance,
an area of advice in which we have a great deal of experience and
expertise.
We are one of the very few independent insurance brokers able to
offer specialist policy wordings for housing association insurance and with
a history of experience dating back to 1980.
Much of our work with new Housing Associations involves improving
poor quality housing association insurance cover where previous advisers have failed
to take into account the specific needs of a Registered Social Landlord.
For those Associations who, for various reasons, have housing association insurance
cover directly with an insurer we can give advice on an independent
fee basis so that an expert opinion with the Association's interests
at heart is still available. This cost usually amounts to a trivial
percentage of the insurance budget.
We advise Associations all over the country.
We are particularly adept at managing housing association insurance programmes for
Associations with between 1000 and 5000 units. Below this level
we can often still give advice but on a fee basis only.
